My name is Ryan Cook. I grew up in the tiny city of Crane, Missouri, in the Ozark Mountains. After High School, I studied Psychology @ Pittsburg State University and later transferred to U.C.A. to study Art. I graduated with my B.A. in 2000, and worked as a graphic designer with Communications Development advertising until I started my tattoo apprenticeship and I did my 1st tattoo in early 2001. I have been painting for 15 years.

My favorite tattoos to do are portraits, trees, victorian women and housewares, skulls, flowers, neo-traditional or traditional, nudes and anything that the client lets me put my own spin on.

How to get a tattoo from me-

E-mail me and include the following:

Your Name, your idea, body placement, amount of money you have to work with, dimensions, your phone #, City/State, and any photo reference you have. If you have trouble e-mailing them through this site, you can e-mail it to jamesryancook@hotmail.com

I charge $100 per hour, however on large scale pieces I discount it to $500 for a 7 hour block of work.

I take a $20 deposit on small tattoos and a $100 deposit on larger tattoos, this is non refundable and will be deducted of of your tattoo price, as long as you show up for your appointment.

Deposits can be paid in person, or by phone at 501-733-5984 text first as I am usually tattooing, and I will call you back.

P.S. My tattoos have been featured in almost every tattoo magazine and I have won awards for them, if you are into that. I just mainly try to do the best damn tattoo I've ever done, no matter if it is something I am into or not.

I have been tattooing since 2000. I did my apprenticeship while attending UCA. I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in 2001. I am currently working at Anchor tattoos and piercings in Benton, Arkansas. I enjoy doing most every style of tattoo. I really like traditional American designs. I am inspired by a lot of great tattooers like Tony Ciavarro, Bob Tyrrell, Joe Capo, Nathan Kostechko, Eli Quinters, Nate Beavers, Derek Noble, my wonderful husband Ryan, and Sailor Jerry to name a few. I love what I do, and I hope to be able to do it for many years to come.
